The first total lunar eclipse of 2014 will occur overnight on April 14-15, and mark the beginning of an eclipse tetrad - four back-to-back total lunar eclipses. Space.com is offering complete coverage of the total lunar eclipse, which will be visible from a wide region that includes most of North America and parts of South America . . .

The total lunar eclipse will begin at about 2 a.m. EDT (0500 GMT) and last about 3.5 hours. The moon will be fully eclipsed by the Earth's shadow by 3 a.m. EDT (0600 GMT)….

I will check it out. The next one is October 8th, but I'll take whatever I can get. :)

I hope I can see it tonight. Right now it is very cloudy and raining. :(

It is cloudy out today..grrr

hope cloudy goes away before midnight. i want to get up and see at 2 am ? will there be around 440 am??

this is when they used to kill and drink virgin's blood from the vagina (they stab into it and drain it from there, horrific!, while the girls alive!!) in the sacrificing of the youth to the demigods, the Sky god- Hypsistos would unleash the wrath by commanding Mensus the Moon-keeper (other words.and changed to Moon-cycle), to hide the moon and make the sea and sky angry. So fearful, that they believed periods followed the moon (obviously), and when the Moon-god 'painted' the moon red, it was time for trade, to adjoin the connection between the cosmic and the earth by showing respect of the moon-blood, if not blessed severe storms will follow.

t's cloudy here too but the clouds are moving out a little , I as able to see a little blue sky .

No, I haven't see the blood moon yet. Because here is snowing. Yuck! I will be in bed anyway. I'm sure my husband will check the blood moon at late. He have to wait until snow is over.
