Pastor resigns from Leadership

I don't know this pastor or church but this kind of situation I'm sure is a shock and disappointment to those who are members of that congregation. Of course, he did the right thing in resigning but he's left a horrible trail of destruction in his wake. :(
 
Sorry about that, Rio....and on 2nd thought....remembering Swaggart and another guy for the same offenses.....We've had so much of this going on in my City....Thinking too...no man is invincible to acts such as this....He wasn't practicing what he was preaching....a con-artist if you will...I would never put my Total Faith into a Preacher/Pastor, etc., .....

Thank you RR , I been attending Calvary Chapel church in my area. It disappoints me his leadership accountabilities fell. I understand , we are not perfect people and we make mistakes. I don't put my faith in pastors , they are only messengers to teach the bible. We have to put our faith in God not man.

I feel like a let down, people of example and moral value to slide and fall down. I am glad he resigned and hope he comes to his senses.

You know I can't help but notice a pattern with some of your posts. You wonder about men cheating and being obsessed with sex and now you find out about this corrupt pastor. It makes me wonder if you are really subconsciously looking for bad examples? :hmm:

The men issue , came from a variety of women that I spoke to in real life . Some ladies where Christians and others were not. I carefully , reviewed my notes, and to conclude it was cheating and men just wanting sex. Don't be judgmental.

I found this out AFTER I spoke to some women about cheating.

I was astonished! Let me inform you, I discussed this situation with other women in the Christian faith . A lot of them disappointed! Get in your head! We were all shocked! Leadership in the church fallen . This man is NOT my husband , the only thing me and the church can do is pray for this man.

Stop being judgmental!

You sure are defensive about being judgmental. Its just that I notice people tend to see what they want to see or see their own flaws in others.

For example criminals think that others are going to steal from them. And likewise nice people think that others are nice too. Its not 100% but I have noticed that in my dealing with a wide variety of people.

I am not that shock b/c after all the guy is human and not perfect.
Yes it's wrong cheat on someone you love and this should really be between the people involve and no one else business .

Actually because he is a pastor he is expected to at least live by the rules he preaches about. It would be like seeing a police officer selling drugs; he should be fired for not following the laws he is supposed to enforce.
 
Well, this is not new thing to me.... There is 3 well known Deaf pastors/preachers have resigned from the church within 1 year!!!!!
