Madoff 5 guilty on all counts

Thats very old news, he is enjoying his retirement in 5 by 7 foot cell room in North Carolina. I had followed his case all the way. It was incredible, and that is how my thoughts on how far criminals would go for. Madoff is one of them, 40 damn years without getting caught. Now he has one big benefit… full access health care with zero co pays. To him, being in jail is nothing really.

I know that I might sounded like as if it is good idea but really its not that, that Bernie Madoff had actually hit jackpot and got paid for his crime and got away too numerous times, in other word, he really won the game.

Old? Maybe. Not until now have other people been held criminally liable for this.

Bernie Madoff is just a "Mastermind" of the crime itself, it is like kingpin of the scam.

His crime is so incredible that he is really a criminally celebrity already, joining Al Capone, and the likes.

Al Capone would roll in his grave if he knew about this-- fairly sure of it. Anyways, Bernie Madoff will never seen sunshine again, and once these defendants enter prison, neither will they.

why?

My whole point is pretty much like the fact that Bernie Madoff gets really little punishment even though the sentence is harsh, he will be dead long, long even longer before he becomes eligible for parole. His justice will never be fully served no matter what.

What he do right now is eat, sleep, doing chores, had job, reads and the best part he has that nobody can take away from him is his own nostalgically. 40 years of good times, fun around the world doing lots of fun things play hard, and so on these are his memories that he enjoys when in retiring mode. Damn him, he got it off too easy!

Because Al Capone never stole $65 Billion from honest people back in the day. Today's criminals would make those of then envy-- especially John Dillinger, with how many money scams going on right now.

Yeah, I know.

Your getting the hint! Yeah, there will be somebody pulled off better than Bernie Madoff in future and I CAN guarantee that. Future criminals learn from past busted criminals and doing better on keeping ahead of step from law enforcement.

Sad, but true.

because $65 billion didn't exist back then. $65 million is equivalent to like $65 billion back then. the point is.... it's not about how much they stole... both Capone and Madoff were charismatic crooks and they destroyed many lives thru frauds.

That's true, but in reality, over the last 110 years or so, criminal have become more smarter, thus making them harder to catch.

No, I think it's they are smarter cause people going after them have better ways to collecting evidence and ways to prove who really has done the crime. In other words, the good has gotten smarter so bad has to get smarter also.

we know who they are and what they do but the point is... we need to make sure the charges stick in the court of law.

Capone and Madoff were lol'ing right in front of our faces because they must have felt untouchable.

There is that. Collecting evidence today is much easier than it was back then.

True. They may have felt invincible (scammers feel the same way, ironically enough), and think they can get away with anything.

Yup! Bernie committed 40 years worth of crimes, and he now has only VERY few years left on his life.

Capone and Madoff were lol'ing right in front of our faces because they must have felt untouchable.

not really unless you're talking about murders and stuff like that.

but in crimes like this.... extraordinary difficult. that's why it takes very long time to investigate, gather evidences, and prosecute them.
