10 Millions Gold Coins found May be from 1899 Heist

What a bummer , the couple that found the coins may not be able to keep them and only get a finder fee.

I know this has been posted already but this an update.
 
I would have melted them, sell few ounces at a time over time…. anonymously.

Did I born when the robber took place?

Often the value of gold coin is little more than what gold itself worth if one wanted to sell. OFC check with well known coin collectors with just couple of coin and pretend I got only got couple of this one. If it backfires, alright melt the rest! Once announce bunch of gold coin, the value of gold will go down. Pointless of announcing all at once.

I was wondering if the coins where stolen . There could be some bodies buried where the coins where found or other hidden treasures , the coupe should go back and do some more digging and this time do not say anything if they do find more things.
 
Notice I am not saying anything about finding anything in the area I might have. :|

Really , I had not seen the news recently . Where did you hear or read this?

I find this story interesting , it's not everyday you hear of people finding 10 millions worth of gold coins on their property .

That is true with my family we had land taken by eminent domain and the government did not give us a fair price for it . We went to court and won our case and the government took taxes out that money too. We got really screwed over by the government . If we had that property today it would be worth millions of $$$. It had water rights too, it was right next the ocean . The government waited for my dad to dies to do this, they dad would fought like HELL to save his land he worked for all his life.
