if you have teenagers you must tell teens not allowed have sexting on smartphone or BIG troubles include porns or nude send to friends and says "OH MY GOD!" and never tell parents must truth and show the phone! or if you tell teens can grab phone for punishment for weeks or months chosen if you are parents no laugh matters its serious laws!

Teens's sentence is pending till trial

this girl will now have record, looks like faces time, (this is outrageous!!!)

we should be trying to keep people out of school (jail) then putting more people into it.

yes we can be proud and pat ourselves on the back such a heinous sextng monster has been removed form society lest her thumbs get carried away again.........
now may she learn like all rookies in the joint how to be a real criminal. thats whats schools for. the range has all the knowledge she ever needs ...so when she gets out she will know how to put her thumbs to better use.......

Perhaps "setting an example"??....Don;t feel the boyfriend should get off scott-free...he was the one who took and "showed" the pixs off....

Nah....think the girl will get probation and community service. Even spend some time in Juvenile Detention....

Besides, at 16, if she isn't repremanded now, she might continue to do this to other people when she gets older. Better nip it in the bud immediately in front of a Judge....

probation officers should be better used doing their job with real criminals out in society, juvy should be real criminals as its full off. she sexted for christs sake....

i suggest we create laws based on reason. this is not child porn. no children are involved. a 17 year old is not a child. age of consent to have sex is 16 in canada for crying out loud. this is absurd...
if this is child porn. then by extension canada allows children to legally have sex considering 16 is the age of consent

The world is insane. The bullied girl allowed the photos, she was dilly dallying with someone's else's boyfriend, she's not exactly innocent. Not that she deserves getting it plastered on social media but maybe she learned her own little lesson about having nude pics floating around. But the other girl doesn't deserve jail time over it, or having some sex offense on her record. Honestly, I'm mean honestly. The things Merica' freaks out over is a bit strange. We do stuff assbackwards and I don't think we're ever going to shake our puritan roots.

Community service or probation fine, but no sex crimes on her adult record. If the girl who was in the pictures was a "child" and it's "child pornography" fine, than the other girl is a child as well and this shouldn't follow her into adulthood.

She's a teenage girl. Teenagers are impulsive and emotional they don't make the best decisions.
