That's a very old fashioned way of executing someone. No country does this anymore, except maybe that country. In no way am I going there-- I ain't about to get eaten alive, thanks.

How come Dennis Rodman still friend with North Korean Dictator?

If this is true, he probably won't be for much longer

I gotta say....... I'm appaled. Didn't think I'd ever hear of being executed by being eaten alive.

Is It Remotely Plausible That Kim Jong-un Had His Uncle Eaten By 120 Dogs? - Houston Chronicle

I would take this story with a grain of salt since there's no credible evidence to back this up, including a complete absence of sources from South Korea, who have all along insisted that the uncle and his men were shot. BTW, nothing will happen to Rodman, he's good propaganda for the dictator. A stupid celeb does wonders for these people....

Hopefully it was more humane than that. As for Rodman, can he make the dictator quit threatening to nuke the US? And to actually shut his arse up before he does something he'll REALLY regret?

There's nothing humane about North Korea. Those men were shot and their families were shipped off to concentration camps which they refer to as "work camps." People are merely sent there to be tortured to death and they're operated along the lines of what the Nazis had in mind for the Jews, so I don't see a difference. Rodman will be to North Korea what Sean Penn was for Hugo Chavez - in that their friendship matters more than petty concerns like human rights abuses....

I am well aware there's nothing humane about North Korea itself. I just hope they didn't actually have them eaten alive, and as for sending them to concentration camps, wasn't that a part of WWI and WWII? Surprised they're still around today, but then again, people who have power will do whatever it takes to stay up there, and that includes eliminating any potential threats by any means necessary. Good thing about the US, we don't do that kind of stuff here. We have a judicial system, while not perfect, does its job for the better part of the time. Hopefully someday in the distant future they'll realize that being isolated isn't a good thing, and the Korean people barely have any food or money. The Iranians were the same way, too, until THEY realized that it was time to get some relief, and things have gotten better as of late, but there's still work to do.

You can't compare the two governments even mildly. They're not the same. North Koreans are held hostage by the government and they're literally paralyzed by fear. Children are routinely tortured so that alone should show you how morally depraved that dictatorship is.

The North Koreans followed the examples from the Nazis so the camps from WWII and North Korea operate the same. Because China and North Korea are allies, any North Koreans that escape into China are returned to North Korea where they're executed in front of their family and their families are sent to the camps to die as well. We did have something similar here during WWII - they were detention camps for Japanese Americans. Because we were attacked by the Japanese, this country turned against citizens here that were of Japanese decent and sent them to these detention camps, even though many had never been to Japan and did not speak the language. Former Star Trek original, George Takei's family were sent to the detention camps during that era and he speaks about it a lot.

I'm not comparing the two. I'm just saying that while the US has authority to sanction a country for illegal nuclear testing or whatever, one country suffered plenty until they decided to cooperate. The other is standing defiantly, and wants to nuke us? That does not help their cause.

Yes, I'd hears of children being tortured over there, and not many survived those camps, and it's a terrible part of what happened back then, but today's world is a much better place than it was back then, with the exception of the North, who are ruthless and unmerciful. They kill their own people however they want, and I feel sorry for those people. They should not have to suffer more than they already are. Sometimes I wonder what it'd be like if the North were a more free country like the South is. I'd like to see the two sides end that "war" for once and all, and get along better. That itself would be a good place to start.

Many years ago, the country resembled New York in the 50's. I saw the photos and it was really unbelievable. They look just like American kids in a record shop with Elvis playing over the loud speaker. It just shows you how a dictatorship can change society overnight. Many people on both sides would love to see Korea united - South Korea and the North Korean people anyway. It astonishes me that the world sees this and looks the other way. The saying that the Jews lived by post WWII, "Never again," well that's clearly not true. It happens over and over and the world continues to just sit and watch....and do nothing.

Sad, but true. If there wasn't an embargo on sending food the people of the North, I would do it. As it is, there's not much I can do without violating federal and possibly international law, therefore they must suffer, and to me, that's wrong. Heck, they don't even have lights on at nighttime, as they're that poor. Their economy is in far worse shape than ours is, and if I had certain traits I could possess, I could do what's needed, and nothing more. I have no vested interest in seeing them suffer like this.

No one does really, it's senseless.

Makes me wish the President would relax the embargo and allow the people to have a full stomach--something that I'm sure many would love to have-- the feeling of a full, and satisfied stomach (sorry for the delay in response; the alldeaf mobile site suddenly froze up again, and the wifi has something to do with that.)

Sadly it wouldn't feed the North Koreans - the dictatorship keeps the food for themselves and gives little to none to the people who desperately need it. What they really need are people to target and kill the dictatorship and help the people get free of the Asian Nazi rulers.

True.... there is that. Wipe out the leader and that army. Then establish some common sense rule, and let them be what they want to be and do as they please.

North Korea--it leaves me speechless. :(
