British native executed in China

well the commies are excessive. its systemic to their way of thinking. that said. if your going to be stupid so be it. this guy if he indeed was from Britain then full well knew the risk. prohibition sucks. but it makes little sense ot ignore the dire consequences of execution for dope.
then again. china, china claims it. but why should anyone believe them. they execute people in china like its nothing.
i doubt he was a native of Britain though. a citizen sure, i doubt very much a native

Here in the US, execution of mentally ill people is prohibited, per the US Supreme Court. That oughta be a world wide rule, in my opinion.

Communist Party of China isn't true communist and PRC government is authoritarian.

I recognized Republic of China as legal sovereignty of Mainland China and I believe that PRC government should cease to exist as Taiwan and Mainland China reunification.

In Thailand, you can receive death penalty for drug smuggling and their prison is horrible, just bad as prison during medieval age.

comies are comies. the stripes change so what?
doesn't matter who the "true" mass murdering bastards are. communism is evil.
pure and simple
my opinion of course, for what its worth.

I disagree.

Soviet Union, North Korea, PRC, Vietnam and Cuba aren't true communist (more hypocritical) because under true communist government, it supposed to have elected leader by majority of people, especially Marxism.

Also, PRC and Vietnam are not technically communist because their economy is capitalism.

Execution is one of most evil act anyone ever done EVEN if it is legal. It is the law itself evil! Period.

I agree. I am 100% anti-death penalty, and don't believe in it. Heck, I wish the State of NY had never come up with the electric chair way back then, and the gas chamber? Nothing but torture to the inmate.

Its not about torture for me. It is about justice. There is no justice in death penalty period. It is really really easy escape from harsh realities in prisons, EVEN if death is done with torture.

Secondly, there is no such thing as 100% sure fire conviction. We can be close to being sure but will never be there. So how can it be just if execution were carried?

Finally with execution, if the person that has been executed is really in fact innocent, there will likely never going to pursue the real guilty one into justice, in other word the real guilty person stay free forever because case would be very much likely closed and remain close permanent (Meaning no further investigation would continue). Pretty much final at that point.

In Asian countries like Burma, China, Indonesia, Thailand, or Singapore, it's not about being "just," it's about complying with the laws and having no repeat offenders. If a person decides to travel to another country with the intent of doing criminal activities, they don't get a "freebie" for being American, Canadian, or British.

Are there chance for them to make mistake and execute innocent? If answer is yes, then there is no justice.

Again, it's not about justice. It's about complying with the law, whether you're a citizen or not. If he wanted "justice" then he should have dealt drugs in the UK.

FYI, I don't support communist because it doesn't work at all, especially for economy, so that why China and Vietnam switched to capitalist, as Soviet Union collapsed, became Russia and other former Soviet states broke away like Ukraine and Georgia. Mongolia abandoned the communism by switched to capitalist with democratic government. USSR, China, North Korea, Vietnam, Cuba, Mongolia, Laos and Cambodia had combined of communism and authoritarian. Having a dictatorship or non-elected politician with full government authority is called authoritarian, so you can say China is authoritarian. Many people give communist a bad name because of authoritarian government. There is no argument involved and I spent my research about political difference.

For me, I'm independent voter with politically blend, mostly share democrat, libertarian and republican, so I'm very advocate of capitalist in economy system.

I'm not interested to argue with you or other members, but it is just little debate, so no big deal.

You mean 3 square meals a day, rent free room and free cable tv all paid for by the law abiding?
