I live with raccoons..hopefully doesnt happen to me. Thank goodness, I have dogs! Victim's dog saved her life.. Several yrs ago, I cut down snapped dead tree with chainsaw and a raccoon was inside the tree. When tree fell and top part of tree shattered and there he was. My dogs were after it and the raccoon hurried climed up to next tree.

They can climb but cant run.

Ouchie, but ownage...! The animals shall rise up in defense of their homes! The idiot owner of the apartment complex I live in cut down a beautiful tree that was healthy on the grounds that it was getting too big. I was traumatized and dazed. Especially with birds that apparently lived in the canopy swooping down at the cutters.

I was F* angry at them! I have been trying to get out of the city I live in for the past year now. I have to pay off things and prepare for the move.

I cant believe you all butt hurt over a fookin tree. Trees kill people all the time. Im sure you know that. Hell, even branches kill people. Ya damn tree huggin hippie.

Didnt you hear a large tree killed two cousins inside a tent at campground durin derecho,the storm? Last yr, a large tree uprooted at apartment complex and killed a boy who was inside his apartment. GET REAL!

dont camp under a tree dont build appartment block near trees it effects water table or owner should pollarded tree properly,human error each time...have some respect to the earth and things on it and lady would been left alone...these poor animals must felt desperate to do this

I saw a whole family of raccoons crossing my road yesterday. Two adults and 3 babies! Tried to get a picture but was not successful. (was in my car.. not approaching them.. no worries =D )
