No, I don't believe Obama is a liar for saying that he is black.

I don't know how Adam and Eve got into the question. Since neither of them had parents they don't fit into my question. However, since you brought it up, I believe that both Adam and Eve had genes that would produce a variety of combinations in their descendants. It doesn't really matter what their "color" appeared to be on the outside.

When you look at the map where Israel or Egypt that has Jerusalem or another village. I think there might be a black Jesus just like Adam and Eve (black). They were living a very warm environment like Egypt if there was Eden. Get brown from the sun can make them go brown or black. Spend a lot of time outside make your skin get darker. That is the way climate cause them to become brown or black.

I don't know why they think that Jesus, Adam and Eve has to be white all the time, never mention about different color skin. White people believe in this which is hog wash, because they live in a different environment than what they live like Europe where they have a little bit less brown to pure white skins. Jesus, Adam and Eve were not from Europe.

It does not matter what color we have as long as we choose to be call as white, black, brown, red or yellow and maybe green, who knows. But if President Obama want to be the first black President of United States, then let him be. Never call him liar or tell him no he can not be the full black president. Get over it.

Don't let it get to you. It is just another attempt to paint (with a very broad brush I might add) anyone who opposes Obama's socialist policies as a racist. This attempt has been shoved down every American's throat since his inauguration.

Absolutely. I disagree with how he is running the office and do not agree with many of his policies. Skin color has nothing to do with it but experience, knowledge and capability are key components that make a difference. He is simply lacking. Period. You put in the most inexperienced person there is to be President and when he believes that spending is the answer, you have a problem. America has a problem.

I doubt the Jesus was "black" since he was a Jew. He most likely looked the same as the other Hebrews of his time, which would be dark hair, eyes, and skin.

No one knows what Adam and Eve looked like. Since they had descendants of every color, they probably carried the genes for all colors.

Not always. People who are light skinned don't always get darker in the sun. Some just burn and blister, some get freckles, and some get skin cancer.

I believe that God led people to climates where they were physically most suited to survive naturally. Of course now, we can use artificial ways to adjust to climate.

I don't know why some people think that they had light white skin either. Since they were living in the Middle East that doesn't seem logical. I think it was artists in the Middle Ages who started that concept.

When I was a kid, I had a manger scene that I would set up each Christmas. The very first year, I painted the hair on baby Jesus, and Mary black (they came with very light brown hair). It just seemed to make more sense.

I don't call him a liar. That doesn't even make sense.

It's interesting that in the past decades of America, some people of mixed race used to try to "pass" as white. It was a big scandal when passers were found out. Now, society has flipped the other direction. Now, people dig around to find any ancestor of color that they can claim, no matter how teeny tiny that percentage may be.

We're still a long ways off from Dr. King's dream of being judged by the content of our character rather than the color of our skin.

Suppose Obama had grown up and identified with the white side of his family, and called himself white. Would that be OK with everyone?

It wouldn't bother me either way. Since his background was 50/50, he could have equally gone either way.

I'm curious how that would have effected his political future. Maybe not at all.

Rice, the Chair of the National Black Republican Association is also a plaintiff in the lawsuit. Mrs. Rice is a resident of Sarasota, Florida and has lived in the the South most of her life.

The case cites the collective work of over 350 legal scholars and includes Congressional records, case law, research from our nation's top history professors, racist statements from Democratic elected officials, citations from the Democrat's National Platforms regarding their support of slavery, excepts of speeches from Senator Obama, individual testimonies from blacks who lived in the Jim Crow South and opinions from the NAACP.

Perryman said President Obama was named as a defendant not only because he is the official leader of the Democratic Party, but because of certain statements he made about his own party in his book, Dreams from My Father (see attachment). In 2009, the President was asked to issue an apology to blacks on behalf of his party, but he refused. Unlike other reparations lawsuits, this lawsuit merely asks for a public apology, but no monetary damages.

In the 40-page brief, Rev. Perryman tells the court that the Democratic Party, (the party that is quick to call the Tea Party and Republicans racist), is the same party that refuses to confess and/or acknowledge (in public and on their website) that they are the party that supported the institution that packed millions of black men, women and children in the deep dark hulls of slave ships with just barely enough food and water to keep them alive, and forced them to lie in their own urine, feces, and vomit for the duration of a long trip across the Atlantic. And after arriving in America, it was the members of their party that forced these poor souls to work from sunup to sundown for the next 70 years and never paid them one dime. And when the black victims were fortunate enough to escape, it was the Democratic Party that passed Fugitive Slave laws to return them to their brutal slave masters. When their inhumane institution of slavery was challenged by the opposing party, Democrats countered by placing threats in their political platforms (1844-1856), - threatening anyone who dared to interfere with what they called, "the sectional issue of Domestic Slavery." On May 21, 1856, they carried out their threats when they attacked their opposition, Senator Charles Sumner with a walking cane on the Senate floor and when they attacked with guns, freed blacks and abolitionists on the streets of Lawrence, Kansas. Six years later, Democrats called themselves 'Confederates" and went to war killing thousands to defend and protect their racist institution of slavery. After losing the war, they fought against constitutional amendments and civil rights legislation for blacks, and chose instead to form terrorist organizations, legislate Black Codes and Jim Crow Laws and support every landmark case that was designed to deny blacks their constitutional rights including the Slaughterhouse Case, Plessy v Ferguson, the Civil Rights Cases of 1881 to overturn the 1875 Civil Rights Act, and Brown v. the Board of Education. While many of these cases were pending, Democrats proudly adopted the name "The Party of White Supremacy" and committed every inhumane violent act known to mankind (from 1867 to 1977) to keep blacks in "their place." And to add insult to injury, after killing millions of blacks through their racist institutions, they hired powerful attorneys to keep this information from blacks and to avoid apologizing to blacks.

The irony is just palpable. Again, I disagree with Obama's policies. Nothing about his skin color. People who bleat that it's all about his skin color regarding racism for those who disagree with him do not know what they are talking about.

To be honest, I do not know what he feels comfortable for who he is or to be. Needless to say, i am under the impression that he s culturally black. he never said " no no i am not black".

Exactly. Which is why I asked a question would Obama be called a liar if he calls himself as a white person. The answer is obvious.

I oppose his policies, but I would hardly call them socialist. I let the idiots use terms they don't understand. They think it makes them appear intelligent.

I said before many, many, many times. Skin color isn't the issue here when it comes to the Presidency. It's the policies that I disagree. The question is how come essentially no one screamed charging Morgan Freeman as being racist for saying what he said about Obama not being "black enough"? That I find quite ironic. Morgan made it a race issue based on skin color. I didn't.

I'm not positive in the purpose of this thread, at a first glance it seems it is a gossip/news article now turning into a huge debate about Obama's 'blackness'. The thread is hazy for its outlook, which is likely going to turn into a heated racial debate.
I am closing this thread because it's just pointless arguments about racist issues making it heated.

For any future moderation on racist or not racist arguments: the decision is ours, but you can be seen as an accomplice, or an enabler by how you post according our forum rules. This type of posting action is heavily frowned upon.
