Queen Elizabeth II's Diamond Jubilee

Brits are celebrating her Diamond Jubilee. She had already overtaken George III's record. I am sure some of you know who George III is. I believe that she is going to beat her great-great grandmother, Queen Victoria's record in three years.

-Net worth: US$ 500 million (2011)

-She doesn't have a passport.

-She loves horses and corgis.

-There have been 12 U.S. Presidents during her reign.

-The Queen is the only person in Britain who can drive without a license or number plate on her state car.

-She has 30 godchildren.

Do you find her fascinating?

My mother-in-law has been researching her family tree for years, and it has been one of her hobbies. It turns out that she is related to Queen Elizabeth II through King Edward III. That makes them very distant cousins. Many Americans here are related to King Edward III,too. My family tree is nothing compared to her family tree. D'oh.

That's a good question. Do you live down under, if so, were you required to learn the history of royal families?

I love the British royals. Today I wore my fake Princess Diana/Princess Kate blue sapphire engagement ring in their honor. Some of my relatives live 70 miles from London and they went over to London to see the festivities. They said it was fun except for the rain.

At first I was surprised that the Queen is worth only half a billion bucks.

But then I realized that was just her. If you added up the net worth of the entire Royal Family, it must be in the tens of billions, if not hundreds of billions.

I don't really have an opinion on the "Royals." They are just human beings whose life experiences are so different than mine, I doubt either of us could relate to the other.

I have a friend in work who is obsessed with them, he's a Boy Scout leader so he's been to Windsor and Buckingham Palace (and No 10 Downing Street too) several times with his troop. The Royal Train came to Wales recently and he was able to get ahead of it to take a picture of the Queen as she got off and was driven away to a visit. She waved specifically at him, he says, as there was nobody else on the street where he was standing with his camera.

I'm not really interested. I was busy fighting with my old PC yesterday, my other half had the boats going down the Thames on TV in the background and sure enough the whole thing was given a dose of miserable British weather.

yeah i knew that news, i was taking the piss on it, like you know what a Prince Albert is? imagine lead poisoning or rather an allergic reaction to a silver metal instead of the yellow gold (like girls/women known this allergic issues with earrings)...i was being mean LMAO
but then again i'd doubt its a bladder infection, its better to cover it with that instead of an erectile dyfunction LMAO, and now get the picture, the ole' lill Phillip cant lift the aberlt's ball... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
hint hint google Prince Albert, from the victorian times, and im sure the tradition lives on...
...and ...would laugh so hard if you can imagine the queen's tongue attempting to lift that ball and the crane wont work guffaws....eheehehehehe, so. its an emergency cuz the viagra is not working anymore...
