Makes you wonder if he even reads what his speech writers write before he reads it to the public.

I read it from Daily Mail UK. Well, he has misspoken that angered Poles. I can understand what Poles feel. Very sensitive topic. Obama just was referring to a death camp in Poland. Remember, Poland was under German occupation at the time.

We shall see what happen next few days.
I doubt it was Obama himself writing a speech. Presently, presidents have speech writers do it for them.

"Poland's Prime Minister Donald Tusk said Obama's words had hurt all Poles and he expected more from Washington than just regret." What more does the Polish want? MONEY? To me, it's no big deal. REALLY! It was not meant to insult them. RIDICULOUS! They need to grow up. |

Let's not forget that Poland and Obama have a cold relationship. It is not the first time Poland felt insulted by Obama. Remember, Obama chose to not attend the funeral of the Polish President Lech Kaczynski, because his plane wasn't safe to fly due to volcanic ash. He played golf on that day. French President and German President could not attend due to volcanic ash. Other country leaders made the efforts by taking cars and trains to attend the funeral. And, remember he had changed his mind about the Missile Defense? It may be difficult to earn Poland's trust again.

I suggest the President to apologize for his mistake like "I am really very sorry for the misstatement I made. I **** up sometimes so I am not perfect. I can't believe that I am actually the President of the U.S. Thank you".
