In bold, we had to stopped due to heavy criticism from Russia and we don't want break the diplomatic relation with Russia because of deploy the missile defense in Poland.

I think that diplomatic relation with Russia is more important than Poland.

U.S. Embassy is in Russia doesn't mean they have "good" diplomatic relationship. Ever hear the saying, "keep your friends close, but your enemies closer?" My father is a former high security level diplomat.

Russia and Poland were at war several times before the beginning of the 20th century. East Prussians have hatred for Stalin far more than Hitler, because Stalin had taken their land and Prussian identity away. East Europeans have very cold relationships with Russia for a thousand year to this day.

That would be groveling. He either does not apologize enough, or he grovels. There is no middle ground here. Certainly you know the rules by now.

You misunderstood my post, I don't say Russia and US have good diplomatic relationship, just simply diplomatic relationship, that it.

Having diplomatic relationship don't need be very friendly and they can disagree on issues while maintain diplomatic relationship.

Gotcha, I am with you. Why do you think the diplomatic relationship between US and Russia is far more important than Poland?

because of oil, space program, investment and other deals.

I think Obama should apology to Poland for misname, just like I did to TXGolfer last night for rude comment.

Um, folks, it's up to the president of Poland to decide if his apology is enough. That's pretty clear. After all it was the Prime Minister who brought it up the demand for an apology.

White House press secretary had told the media that Obama had misspoken, and "regret the misstatement." Poland is not satisfied with it, because White House press secretary issued it, instead of Obama hasn't shown himself and say he will regret it. I have no idea if Obama has called them directly on the phone to tell them he was sorry or not. If so, White House press secretary should mention it.

That's right. That's what it's all about. Poland doesn't accept a regret from his spokesperson. They demand that Obama delivers his apology himself.

He is so vain and full of himself that I seriously doubt it! All this coming from a guy who has his barber flown in to DC 2 times each month for a trim!
