Quote:
CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - After a short chase in a wooded area, police arrested a 17-year-old boy Monday night for allegedly killing his grandparents in Manchester, Iowa.

Earlier that day, officials issued a warrant for Isaiah Sweet and charged him as an adult with two counts of first-degree murder. The bodies of Richard Sweet, 55, and his wife Janet, 62, were found Sunday afternoon in their home.

Police said their grandson had been living with them.

The Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation said autopsies were conducted, but authorities are not releasing a cause of death, according to The Associated Press. However, authorities said the teen called a friend Friday night and said he drugged his grandparents and thought they were dead.
