Nope. He didn't have to. And now he is payiing the consequences for making the decision not to. Even the guy that wrote SYG has stated that when he decided not to obey the statement not to follow Trayvon, he forfeited his right to defense under SYG.

The "little kids" who never learned to play well with others get banned from this forum. The ones who get to stay are here because they follow the forum rules. The ones who cheat at the membership rules eventually get found out, and their plug gets pulled.

It's a real shame when "adults" can't accept the rules.
