This Moment In Life
I used to think that happiness
was hidden in the waters. It flowed unevenly, ungainfully, but constantly. After looking back, I realize, I lost so much by waiting for the water to dry up, instead of reaching deep inside. I remember that I had forgotten it all. I forgot the water was my soul, and that I should grasp the happiness inside me. When sadness overtook me, I cried until I spilled onto the sandy banks. When anger built inside me, I was sure I would drown everything from the torrents I spewed. But then I know that all along, I was wrong. I realize now, that happiness is deep inside me; and you reminded me. 06.22.04 - I know it's been awhile since I posted a poem.. that's cause it has been awhile since I wrote one. They all suck, in any case.  The meaning means more than the words, I can never seem to make them equal.

awwwww I haven't seen this Poem Yet. It is a real Good one you are really good at writting Poems
 I love to sit here and read all of your poems. sometimes I would missed it only if I am either out of state or just not paying attention LOL.
