Evening Glory: A Limerick

All the kings and the men,
When they couldn’t fix something together,
They traipsed over to the nearest honky-tonk rathskeller,
To put this terrible incident out of memory,
a-plenty of drinkin’,
a-plenty of whorin’,
All in the name of glory.

Glory is another everlasting vice,
so have your noodles and rice!
