Trapped between two worlds
I choose one but I don't fit in
Like an outsider who's always left out
A loner nobody can ever understand
Feeling kind of rejected, worthless
The other world I do fit in
But it's not what I've known all my life
That world is my safest hiding place
The most accepting of my kind
Still I stand out of that world too

This desire burns within my soul
Seeking to change both worlds
So I no longer can feel trapped
But free to cross the bridge to either world
They don't understand me yet
I may feel trapped for a while
But no fear because the day will come
When I won't feel so trapped anymore
