Question My Characters (Need Advice)

One of my characters have an (generalized) anxiety disorder personality, so a kind of behavior problem for my character. I don't have a kind of that but, it is for my fictional character. She's also a such minor character from Pearson Forest and was used to be major character in a few thousands years before Pearson Forest's beginning.

I researched through using google for finding a right personality to fit in her. But, all I got was too hard to read because of science vocaboraries in a varied information. I tried to fit it in my character but I'm not sure where an information will fit her personality... I just want to a little more describe about her personality with her 'disease'.

Name: Misachiko
Personality: Bookworm, sweet beatnik attitude, and manic laughable
Weak Personality: (Generalized) Anxiety disorder; upset easily, wart-worried, and bitter-attitude

Advice? Little detail? Please and thank you.

I personally don't trust wiki because I dont want to have misleaded information.

Aha, heh. No, I like to keep my Misachiko as realistic character, otherwise, it will less realistic.

Also, thanks for offering.

I really have no idea what you're talking about. Are you creating a character for a novel, or a manga? I dunno.....

I already created a character for my old novel book.

I'm just doing research on a kind of disorder personality to fit in a character. The anxiety disorder personality have some different kinds of "disease" personality. Too bad, it seems I can't find it anywhere else (or can't read it) because of high level vocaboraries. I still search for.. :shrugs:

If you have no idea what I am talking, you should just skip this thread and go anywhere on AD.

Okay, I think you might want some ways your character who has general anxiety disorder will behave. I got these basic ideas from Anxiety Disorder Center

She will worry nearly every waking moment about imagined fears. What if my best friend dies? What if my dog is hit by a car? What if my mole is cancerous? What if a meteor hits my house?

Some fears will cause mounting panic -- breathing becomes rapid and difficult and the pulse races. She will want to run away, but doesn’t know where or in which direction.

Dreams will be nightmarish, and she may wake up in a cold sweat.

For your character’s background, this disorder may be inherited, induced by excessive alcohol and/or drugs, or from a traumatic experience.

I hope these basic thumbnail sketches help.

Character will still have "trigger" for feelings, e.g.does excercises and pulse rate goes up, assumes he/she is dying of heart attack 'cos parent did at young age, also have in common compulsive behaviour when stressed like pull out hair, hide under desk/table/in closet, hperventilates etc., pinches skin or causes pain to self in some way as distraction. Hope to read your work one day!
