How do I deal with this?
As usual, This is another poem I wanted to put it out. It's probably not exactly a poem but it's more like a "rant" session or whatever it is.
![]() How do I deal with this? The frustration's spewing out The intensity increases The stress mounts up The anger escalates There's thousands of questions swarming in my mind..... How do I deal with this? How do I cope with this? There's no answer to every questions But, Yet, I can search it in my heart.... To find the answers; We must be truthful to ourselves Still, How do I deal with this? There's needs and wants Love may be one of it But, To know it, You must be truthful to yourself Otherwise - Everything's gonna shut down When it starts to shut down; It all comes back to square one How do I deal with this? Take your pick - Deal or No Deal?

This is not too bad, good read, though it does seem to "tell" you the emotion rather than "show" it. Thing about poetry (I'm no expert so tell me to get lost if I'm wrong!) is that it's about the emotions, imagery and senses, poetry has to combine these elements or at least be strong in one of them in order to have a powerful impact. What does come through is that you enjoyed writing it and expressing yourself and that's very important when it comes to writing of any kind.
Keep it up, would like to see more! |
