I ordered Karin Slaughter's "Beyond Reach" and Nicholas Spark's latest book, "The Choice."

Anyone have seen Patricia Cornwell's next book out yet after "The Risk." I have been waiting and waiting for her next novel. I haven't seen anywhere in gocery store yet. I collect and have read all of her books. I love her books.

Nope, I just never had the need for books.

In college, everything I needed to know were from the lectures. The only time I looked in the textbooks were to answer questions for homework... especially math books.

Yeah, I like to read a book. I'm currently read, American Spartans by James Warren. Next book will be "Tides of War" by Steven Pressfield for sure.

The books that I've read were...
-Gates of Fire by Steven Pressfield
-Flyboys by James Bradley
-Flags of our Fathers by James Bradley.
-Return with Honor by Captain Scott O'Grady
-War Pilot by Richard Kirkland

Yeah, I have read a lot of military books.

I'm re-reading New Moon by Stephenie Meyer... I don't like it as much as Twilight and Eclipse though...

I read; therefore I am

The old saying is so true: different strokes for different folks. I realize they aren't for everyone, but books have been my lifelong source and solace. Last year when I was slaving 10-12 hours a day plus driving 120 miles roundtrip to the job, I only read a book every ten days, but now I'm back up to a two-a-week habit with all the usual junkie behaviors--knowing the librarians' grandkids' first names . . . begging casual acquaintances for spare paperbacks. To avoid being stalked, lots of folks throw books on my porch. The two I'm currently reading are Chelsea Cain's Heartsick and James David's Footprints in Thunder. The first is so good it's hard to put down, and the second is so bad I'm fascinated to see where it hits bottom and rebounds to SOME improvement.

Aww that is too bad - I adore reading!

Right now am reading this book on small pox and how a British lady and a Boston doctor trying to to get the message that the best way to beat small pox is to actually have it by being injected with it by a doctor in 1700's. It is a truly fascinating book - never knew how horrible it is. Such terrible way to die

my all time favorite is "Kane and Abel" I love family saga from 1700's to now.

use to read Stephen King's book unless I read "Cujo" that book came alive without even seeing the movie...

I tend to get big paperbacks knowing it'll take me forever... I do like I can't remember the author name "penny vincezo" most of her books to do with the Mafia or family... really good ones.

I also liked true stories as well...

I have been neglecting to read books which I love to do but don't have a good comfortable chair at the moment .... I'm weird lol..

I read a short story "I am Legend" by Richard Matheson about the last human on earth with everyone else vampires. Very interesting but ends too soon with nothing finished. I know Will Smith makes a movie about this for December. Wikipedia article about "I am Legend" - it explains the title "I am Legend" and I see I 100% misunderstand.

I just finished reading The Heroin Diaries: A Year in the Life of a Shattered Rock Star. That was a crazy book. It is a years worth of diaries and then current time comentary from the author, band mates, friends and family. It's crazy. I couldn't put it down. Now I am reading the first Harry Potter book. I wasn't sure if I was going to like it but I am really enjoying it. I think I'll end up reading the series.

I just finished reading all Karin Slaughter's books. After reading Beyond Reach, I am so mad!!!! She did something to my favorite character in the book. I cannot tell you, in case you have never read it, but read her books before. Gotta wait till 2009 for her next book. Next year she is writing something else. Grrr...why??? Maybe Karin Slaughter needs a break and figure out what to do with my 'you know who'...Patricia Cornwell does the very same thing. oh well....I am reading Patricia Cornwell's 'Book of the Dead' right now (yes, about time that I wait the whole year). I bought other latest books- Stephen King, Nicholas Sparks, Irs Johnasen, etc... to stock up for Winter as well.

...If you don't have time to read, then you don't have the time or tool to write...Stephen King

T is for Trespass by Sue Grafton just hit the bookstores, so I put my name on the list at the library to read it. It’s Grafton's 20th book featuring her grown-up Nancy Drew. Some of Grafton's later alphabet mysteries fell below her usual standard of excellence. The last one, S is for Silence, had lots of promise but went nowhere. However, I’m forever hopeful.

Clive Cussler’s new book on the shelves is The Chase, which I’ll have to read if only for the title.

Was that the book written by Nikki Sixx of Motley Crue? I've heard that it was a very good book and I plan to read it when I have time away from my guitar lessons and sheet music. As for Harry Potter ....well, I'm too lazy to wade through a thick book so I'll just watch the movies as they come out. With two teenagers and full time job, I don't have as much time to read as I used to.

He wrote it? I was a huge fan of Motley Crue also. What is it about? True Story? Is that The Chase the title of the book. I would like to pick it up when I visit the book store. It would be great gift for my brother too since he is the Crue's fan too.

The book is The Heroine Diaries: A Year in the Life of a Shattered Rock Star.
It is a years worth of Diaries written by Nikki all while he was struggeling with his addiction to heroine. There is also comentary by friends, family, managers and bandmembers about his behavior and their addictions as well. I always thought Tommy was the bad buy but..........it was really Nikki. It's a great book and most of the proceeds from it go to his charity Into the Night for runaway kids.

I acknowledge I grew up to read the magzine the most. I am not a bookworm person. But I like reading the specfied books and others.

Skatebaord magzine
BMX magzine
Car magzine
King james version (my most favorite scripture for my rest)
Novel Comic books
Celerity Magzine
Fiction/ spiritual books (like halo, perfect dark zero, prophet)
Movie books
On and on list thru my mind!

I am currenty reading the adult/mature novel comic series: 100 bulletproofs series, DMZ series, Loser series, CSI: case file: Vol 2. You think that I am still being childish things in my life, because I read the comic?, you are wrong! Those novel comics are rate "M" which is for adult book. Those don't make me the bookworms. I might looks likely geek, However, Those genuinely entertaining me, educating me, and killing my boring times!
