Lost Love

This is a small poem I wrote last year while trying to come to terms with my seperation with my wife. The divorce is actually final now and I am quite fine with it.

I miss you every day that we are apart,
I wish that we could turn back the clock and restart.

My feelings of sadness is now so strong and true,
Everyday all I can think about is you.

My heart is torn into complete dispare,
I just wish that I knew you cared.

I gave you everything that I could,
I just wish that you understood.

My heart will be incomplete without you in my life,
This pain cuts into me like a knife.

We spent so many year's together,
And now its gone forever and ever.

I wish you the best in everything you do,
I will always be here for you.

Farewell my love for i know its best,
It's time we put and end to this and have a rest.

God gave us the chance to be as one,
It's going to be hard once it's all said and done.

Good by darling I will always love you!!!!

Beautiful poem!...So sorry it did not all work out for you!....And hoping a 2nd chance at total happiness comes very soon....you seem to be such a nice and caring guy.....some lucky lady will snap you up!
