I thought I might add this one. They are mostly fractal works. They were years old, and I haven't since return to it.

"The Birth of Dimension" - This has to be my worst work. I spent hours on it and was still not satisfied with the result.

Oh. I forgot to mention this.

The software I used were Gimp editor, Xaos, and few other freeware programs that I can't seem to remember.

I created those under a socialist Linux operating system, namely Fedora OS.
 
Hmm, maybe I will experiment once again... when I drink.

I went to art school for 4 years, mastered freehand drawing, photography and Jewelry making. I have been drawing since I was a kid, did wood burnings , had my own darkroom and enjoy it. I dabble into them every so often, I need to take some pictures of my work and post them.
 
Interesting. Do you draw it on wood board then "burn" along the lines?

Yes, I buy 1/4" luan in sheets 4x8 and cut to size. I draw the picture I want basically just the outlines then I shade/detail it with the burner, I can make them 3 dimensional by burning deeper into the wood. Soft woods like Basla is easier to use but burns faster.
 
Wow! Lukin, your Dimensional Ward and Angelic Cross are beautiful! And that burned wood is impressive, too.

Yes, most of those fractal images are based on highly advanced and complex mathematical formulas, although other ones much are simpler, like 2D angelic cross/inwardness/cyclone.

The most complex one is the Birth of Dimension, took me hours of manipulating because the formulas are in 3D, something of vector calculus or other I guess, can't remember. I gave up and that one was the result.

I might return to this old interest. It has been years and I'm pretty sure I lose of my math skills, lol.
 
Holy shit, amazing work you did! Dimensional Wind is awesome! Do you have a favorite of your own work? If it's been years since you do this, you should do it again and you might create a masterpiece!
