I already have my own blackberry curve 8320. I used to have SK1 with color. I don't use it anymore since I got Palm Treo. I didn't like the company. I got a new blackberry last month ago. I love it! How about Sk LX, ID, Slide go to close too??

I had Sk2 went dead (connection dead on the SK2's motherboard) then ordered upgrade to SK3 and renew contract. I am happy with SK3

The LX is amazingly wonderful compared to SK 1,2,3.

I recently bought a brand-new Sidekick LX from T-Mobile without extending to another two years contract (yeah, more $$$ for them

). Yesterday, I had decided to switch back to my Sidekick 3 for a while until earlier this morning it kept losing signals, so I switched back to Sidekick LX, it was fine. I suspect they are trying to get Sidekick users with older Sidekicks to upgrade to newer ones (LX and Slide.)

If Sidekick LX has video support, flash support on browser, tethering support and allow to install 3rd party apps without download from stupid catalog then I will buy it.

Now, it's not for me then I keep with HTC right now.

I don't believe the current Sidekick is able to support video, but you could play some, if not most images formatted in gifs (in Sidekick LXs/Sidekick Slides only.)

I'm expecting that next gen of Sidekick will be 3G, just right after T-mobile rolling out the 3G in summer or fall this year, probably including video support or not.

I'm concern about next Sidekick will have Windows Mobile because of MS bought Dangers.

Me too, Pacman. I am really looking forward of their deploying 3G nationwide sometime in Summertime!

It would be nice if Micro$oft could share bits what they are planning to do with Sidekicks. I believe they were after Danger Inc's softwares, not the Sidekick itself.

We shall wait and see what happens.

Man, I hope so! Better be! They should know how huge a Deaf market they have and should think more about what makes it more convenient for us and our communication.

They already stopped making all Sidekick models before Sidekick Slide, Sidekick LX, and Sidekick iD.

The next Sidekick is Sidekick Gekko. That will be the new model that replaces Sidekick iD. When that happens, they will stop making Sidekick iD.

yeah, I heard more about it not long ago. I plan to stop my carrier service with T mobile so they not that great anymore. I plan to go either verizon or att since they got more coverage, So I haven t decided yet blackberry curve 8310 or enV2.

When they stop making a phone, they will still be connected to a network after few years. They just don't make that model anymore, that all there is.

Same as old windows 3.1 or Win 95/Win 98. I know a person still use Win 3.1 for his business.

T Mobile and cancel account it. BYE T Mobile. I used SK 2 for 4 yrs. I found out T Mobile not have GSM network and CDMA there are more towers more than T Mobile.

TMobile & AT&T Mobility are GSM Network. CDMA is Sprint, Alltel, and Verizon
