There's not really anything you can do since the OS doesn't have a spam filter included.

Your best suggestion would be to change your email address.

Scammers use common email addresses that are found through email address generators.

For instance, suppose a person's name is Robert Jackson... he might use BOBJ or RJACKSON for his email. What do the spammers do? They create a program that sends out email to everyone whose name is Bob and ends it with ascending letters... BOBA, BOBB, BOBC, BOBD, BOBE, BOBF... BOBJ. Now, Bob got spam! What about RJACKSON? Same thing applies... AJACKSON, BJACKSON, CJACKSON, etc.

What you should do is pick something that is unique such or include numbers. If this email is something you don't want to change, then you will just have to deal with it.

I get spam on my Sidekick. On some days, I get 10 or 20 a day. On some days, I get 1 or 2. It varies.

Also love FireFox. I only use IE7 or IE6 to print longer documents.
Opera is ok, but is only installed on one of our three computers, so not really used much.

Mainly, I use Firefox 2. I'll switch to version 3.x once it becomes gold.

You're right... Opera is "okay". One good advantage that it does is that it allows you to block specific files on the web.

For instance, Flicker has a transparent image named "snowball.gif" on the main page of each image. If you see an image you like, you can click on "All Sizes" to see all the images available for download. However, some images don't have the "All Sizes" feature and you're stuck with just the image on that page. Yet, the image on that page cannot be saved due to the transparent image covering it. If you copy & paste the URL of that transparent image and add it to the BLOCK list, that transparent image will no longer load and you can now save the image you want.

Opera seem only something I like most that can zoom in/out on webpage view. It can accept most plug-in. Only thing I find annoying on tab system the way it is. Ugh.

Yet, it made excellent grade on WebKit than Firefox. oh well.

Ha! Nice and clever way to get around it! Yep, I just look at the source code and snag an image there, if I want it.

FF cleanest, fastest, best. But FF gives problems with printing sometimes. Ack!

The add-ons are also fabulous.

I love the SEO Quake, Colored Tabs, and Web Developer Tools, Keyword generator, CSS preview tools, etc as the add-ons. WOW.

Firefox 3 is faster and little more stable than Firefox 2 for Mac OS X but haven't notice an different for Windows except for new background.

Faster is always nice! Wonder how it will become more 'stable'. The only thing I don't like about FF is that sometimes it can be hard to print from. Ack!

Maybe this part will be fixed with FF3

Virtual Earth on Mac version of Firefox 3 is smoother and faster than Firefox 2, also no much difference on Windows OS.

I have used both IE 7 and Firefox 2 on my home PC.

Mozilla's FF 3.05 beta version is farther more stable and faster than FF 2.10 but it lacks some add-ons that I want to use. I am sure the add-on developer will have their add-ons ready once the FF3 becomes standard.

Love Firefox allllll the way.

But had to abandon firefox since it will not show graphics that IE can show in microsoft webmail and many of my wholesale broker's website. For example, several banks's mortgage website are not compitable with Firefox and hidden icons no where to be found. Only on IE.

Opera seem nice but I abandon because its not work great with many of website I highly frequently attend.

If firefox and opera merge and share similar ideas. I really liked the idea of Opera's main screen that show all website front page on one window up to 8 or 16 website. It very helpful. But again... I must use IE to get all information I needed.

Of course, I like little of IE, most Firefox and little of Opera. Wish all works perfectly then I will use that browser.

You guys got me wondering...

Opera's infamous speed dial. Now Firefox and IE have...

IE7Pro Bringing Speed Dial to Internet Explorer

That feature I really love. And IE is taking every new ideas from Opera and firefox to become their own IE 7.

Since I am stuck with IE 7... i did not know it had speed dial within my browser. Even newest IE 7 2.2 have spell checker. Check it out.

what can I say, the safari is an excellent browser of software!

I use Safari on Window since October 2007, Apple Introduced the final version of new browser me for Windows via quick video (update software). I give a try, I did. I already fall in love Safari broswer and admire safari's elegant interface as plain and easy to use web browser! No kidding!

I admit you that it’s truly fastest browser on Windows, loading up to twice as fast as Microsoft Internet Explorer 7. Yes, I believe that safari is faster than FireFox. correct me if I am wrong.

Download: Safari browser for windows.

Nah, My safari browser is fast loading than IE7. I notice that few bugs and glitches in safari browser that are not bad. its pretty running well as so far! Please remember that the final version safari just releasing for windows that march 2008 began. I believe that developers will fix and improve it on windows in bright future!

You have to clean history and cach off your harddrives. it affect browser loading so fast.

WebKit, Opera, and Firefox 3.

For Windows User. You still can Windows update without IE7.

Opera and Firefox 3 are more stable than Safari for flash player.

Firefox 3 all the way, super fast than IE7. Me Linux user. As for Mac user, it force you to buy a Apple Mac system while I can use Linux live CD to install on any system.
