Hi. In Microsoft Office Outlook 2007, I manage RSS feeds that get synched from Microsoft Internet Explorer 7, since Internet Explorer 7 lets me subscribe to news like from Tallahassee.com and OrlandoSentinel.com, for keeping up on news events. Then, once it's synched to Outlook 2007, I have Windows Mobile Device Center (I'm beta-testing Windows Server 2008 and I'm currently in Beta 3) sync Outlook's RSS feeds to my Pocket PC Phone, so like I can read the news in the bus to college, for example.

Anyway...

Are you having trouble deleting folder(s) in Outlook 2007? You may get an error message telling you to right-click in the folder to check for folder permission, but it may have greyed out under the Administration tab but you can select the initial view in folder and that's about it. It's also telling you that you don't have permission to delete a folder off of Outlook 2007.

Well, here's my tip: Drag a folder you wish to remove from Outlook 2007 and drag it into "Deleted Items." After that, you can empty the Deleted Items folder and the folder you're trying to delete is gone.

That's all for my tip. I hope this helps anyone using Microsoft Office Outlook 2007.

PS: It's kind of strange that in the Administration tab, the "This folder is available to" group is grayed out, but the brute forcing of moving a folder to "Deleted Items" and emptying "Deleted Items" folder seems to work good for me.
