It looks like they added a 4th Screen!!! to the mix in Forza 2. :o Now you can use a small LCD screen for a rear view mirror. It would be crazy expensive to sport a set-up like this, but it is very cool:

Who is getting Forza 2 in a few weeks? The demo is avialable now on Live, and was #2 most played on XBL behind Gears of War last week. It's only a demo of one track, yet people are playing it nonstop! I may get it asap, I may not. I left my steering wheel in Maryland, so I may wait and pick this game up in August when I go back.
Xtreme Deaf Gamers already has a best time competition thread on the XDG forum. XDG probably will have the BEST and FASTEST deaf racers in the world on Forza 2.

Nice man! I read about Nascar 08 and they are improving alot right now for the consoles. They way they say about it seemly like to be realistic racing in consoles ever. I saw the developer of Nascar 08 is by EA Tiburon which they used to make Nascar SimRacing on PC. All prevous NASCAR series on consoles arent make by Tiburon. They did great job on PC and now they are working on this console! Must be good racing game on console.

Its gonna be awesome to drive COT (car of tomorrow)
 
I've heard the upcoming F1 game for PS3 is really jaw-dropping too. Racing games are only going to get better and better!

I did bought F1 Championship Edition for PS3 and it was pretty cool but the driving gameplay are horrible designed. It has no 100% full turn steering. GTHD for PS3 almost 100% full turning steering. I know Nascar PC series are all 100% turning steering more realistic. All racing consoles are not designed to 100% steering turns. Hopefully Nascar 08 and Forza 2 are 100% steering from Left to right on consoles. If not then we are stuck with PC racing games.
 
I'm not sure when will get FM2, probably expected to get one in before July 2007.

Oh, I don't have problem with racing games via console.

I just don't like F1 games.

I hope there will work with clutch too. I really hate auto so much, no trick no fun and feel like idiots.

Yeah Automatic sucks. Most racing wheels does not have clutch pedal so they usually put it on auto for the clutch or use button for the clutch on PC racing games.
 
Anyhoo I learned this Fornza Motorsports 2 use 480p/720p output. No 1080i/1080p output. That sucks man.

Also Halo 3 maximum output is 1080i geez. I got 1080p HDTV! Come on game developers!

Nascar 08 has 1080p output I think because I typed it in google and search for 1080p Nascar 08 by EA and it shows list of it and seemly it supports 1080p for real.

Most Xbox 360 games don't support true 1080p, just upscale into 1080p.

I just called upscale as "fake 1080p".

Incorrect, FM2 will support 1080i, not 1080p.

No wonders that you are complain about resolution issue.

Yeah when will games with 1080p coming out? If a year or two then I had wasted my 4,000 dollars on my 1080p HDTV.

I am not worry about xbox, ps3 and tv shows. Soon, they will turn games into 1080p. It takes a while.

Right now, some tv channels can supports up to 720p and 1080i.

I heard that Halo 3 is working on 1080i or 1080p. We will see about that. Major Nelson really want Halo 3 to get up to 1080p. Developers are working on that one.

You are just rush to got 1080p HDTV and I picked new 720p/1080i HDTV.

Just important to watch movies (BD) on 1080p but numerous of games aren't except for PS3 but PS3 is using BD then no excuse if game developers aren't add 1080p support but Xbox 360 games are good reason to not add 1080p because take too much spaces or bandwitch then DVD is fucking limited.

1080p seems like a 'mirage' of sorts nowdays. 720 is the optimum gaming resolution, I believe. Naturally it will be 1080p in time, like Irish said.

Yeah I will use PS3 for BD movies only. Now I am trying to get Xbox 360 back but preferly Elite. I rented PS3 NBA2k7 yesterday and it looks horrible on PS3 than NBA2k6 on my old Xbox 360. NBA 07 by Kobe looks great on PS3 and its support 1080p. Guess NBA2k7 only 720p? It bugs me with those crappy lines in games. Tim Duncan in NBA2k7 doesn't look like the real Tim Duncan.

I suggest all of you to stick with your xbox 360 because the games are good on screen than PS3. PS3 only good for BD movies.

Maybe I could be wrong because Irish told me that PS3 is not compaicalbe to my Samsung HDTV. I remembered at wal mart the day PS3 came out and the display TV for PS3 is Samsung and I saw graphics there looks very horrible. Then few months later wal mart changed TV to Sony and it looks good. I guess Sony and Samsung are rivals and they did on purpose to make it look horrible when connecting these two brands together.
 
With luck, I got it early. Picked it up at a Fred Meyer in Tigard Oregon on the way home from Hollywood video. It is a FREAKING SWEET GAME.

Let me know how you like this! I know you had played Nascar Thunder 2004 via PC with me so tell me the comparison to NT2k4 PC and this Forza 2.
