Knoww any good strategy guides??

Hey,

So I'm looking for some good online strategy guides and
the one I found was StrategyWiki.org, you guys know any other good ones? That'd be
a lot of help. I'm basically a HUGE n00b. Peace guys :)

FountainStarr,

I am with sablescort's post. Gamefaq is infomational tool and best site! :thumb:

I use gamefaqs.com the most.
:werd:

Different people have different ways of telling it. It's also easy for me to save and read for later use.

IGN does have good guides, but many recent guides require elite membership... which costs money. :(

I tend to use Gamefaqs, then if I need a picture/map, I google it. I did that to get a map of Zelda(GBA classic series), googled "Legend of Zelda map" and found a few good map photos/pages.

Sometimes GameFAQs have maps too.

GameFAQs usually has everything grouped in categories. The first is the usual walk-thrus. Those are pretty much general stuff for the whole game (plus other stuff). The second section is for additional stuff, usually the focused stuff. These include boss strategies, hidden items guide, "find all the keys" or "find all the gems" stuff, etc. The third section is maps. This is usually JPG, GIF, PNG, etc... for specific levels.

I've gotten dungeon maps and world maps for my 2D Zelda games. :)

Have anyone played a RPG game without a guide? LOL It might be too difficult for sure!

Playboys are the best strategy mags. They help you to get exciting and beat the whole game yer playing.

get an IGN insider membership and u can access their online strategy guides.

IGN do offer free guides online for free but Insider members could download PDF guides to hard drive.

If I need guides for others then I simply visit official and fan websites for better information. GameFAQs are OK... but major on older games. For Nintendo games like Metroid, Zelda or Pokemon, I buy or free Nintendo Guides with subscription to Nintendo Power magazine.

Some gaming magazines offer short guides on top-selling/rated games.

Indeed it is diffluct. But I know and you know that person too. D. Ritter of Fremont regularly plays RPGs without guides.
Also, imagine if your job was to play the game and write the guide!?!?!?! *pulls hair out*

Well, a lot of people tend to rewrite what they read from strategy guides so that they look better. ;)
