Gamer Generation

I haven't watched it. I probably won't be able to since I don't have cable.

Anyway, if it's about who plays video games... I'm not surprised if adults play more than kids.

Yep, according to the Entertainment Software Association...

I remember reading a magazine article on gamers. They listed a few corporate office employees who were professional gamers. One of them was a female CEO of a small computer company and was one of the top-ranking Quake 3 Arena players. Another was a few guys who ran a small marketing firm and were part of a top-ranking clan in Unreal Tournament.

Just recently, there was an article about World of Warcraft and college students who play it. One of the players is a tenured professor at RIT... a level-60 priest.

has anyone watched this yet? It's on Discovery Times channel.

I saw a episode of that show couple of hours ago and it was interesting show to watch. I am still a gamer even in 40's eh

many thanks for the heads up hopefully to find some copies or tapes or DVD-rs of those eposides sounds cool and interesting !!! thanks for sharing this with us !

I do not understand what shame there is to play video games. Video games are another type of sports. And many middle-aged people play and/or watch sports. To call gaming a "nerd" thing is ignorant.
