Au Contaire, my Dear Vamp:

About the Mega Mans:
MMHP: Mega Man 4 Oh look, it says here "1991."

MMHP: Mega Man 6 *Gasp!* It says 1993.

About the Ninja Gaiden Trilogy:

Ninja Gaiden (series) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The original Ninja Gaiden, a platformer, was released in Japan on December 9, 1988, in the United States in March, 1989, and in Europe on August 15, 1991. A ninja named Ryu Hayabusa finds a letter by his recently missing father, Ken, telling him to go to America and and meet with an archaeologist Dr. Smith, Smith tells Ryu that 2 statues hidden by Ryu's father and the doctor have the power to end the world - if united. Ryu ends up in South America and battles Jaquio, the evil mastermind responsible for the attack on Ken Hayabusa.

*Gasp!* It even says 1988!

Looks like I just out-nerded you. Are you sure you really know your history?

In Japan... the NES (known as Famicom) was released in 1983, not 1985.

Contra was released in 1988, not 1986.

Castlevania (as Akumajou Dracula) was released in 1986, not 1987.

There are two versions of Super Mario Bros. 2. The American version is called Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels and the Japanese version is called Super Mario Bros. 2, which was released in Japan in 1986... not 1988. But then again, another version of both games: the American version is called Super Mario Bros. 2 and the Japanese version is called Yume Koujou - Doki Doki Panic, which was released in Japan in 1987, not 1988.

Castlevania II: Simon's Quest (as Dracula II - Noroi no Fuuin) was released in 1987, not 1988.

Tetris was released in 1988, not 1989.

Mega Man 2 (as Rockman) was released in 1988, not 1989.

Ninja Gaiden II: The Dark Sword of Chaos (as Ninja Ryuukenden II[/i]) was released in 1990, not 1989.

Super Mario Bros. 3 was released in 1988, not 1990.

Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse (as Akumajou Densetsu) was released in 1989, not 1990.

StarTropics was never released (or intended to be released) in Japan.

Punch-Out!! was released in 1987, not 1990. It was later released in America as the version without Mike Tyson in 1990. Technically, the Mike Tyson version wasn't released in Japan.

Yoshi's Cookie (as Yoshi no Cookie) was released in 1992, not 1991.

Wario's Woods (as Wario no Mon) was released in 1994, not 1992.

Zoda's Revenge: StarTropics II was never released in Japan.

Famicom never really ended until a few years ago.

So, this time... you got 16 wrong. I guess you either don't know or didn't research your Japanese NES (or Famicom) history. ;)

Then, you better state which versions you're referring to. I am right in both versions. It doesn't make sense if you're going to list the release dates of each game when you're switching between versions for each game.

For Mega Man 4, you're still wrong. That site information is wrong. Mega Man 4 was released in Japan in 1991, America in 1992, and Europe in 1993.

You never actually mentioned Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels for SNES. You listed NES games. Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels didn't appear in America until the SNES in 1993 as part of Super Mario All Stars. Also, I never actually said that Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels was never released in America. So, your point is mute to your previous argument regarding NES games.

Still outnerded me? I think not. ;)

Yeah, same here. I got a couple wrong because I spelled it wrong.

It would be better to have it as multiple choice than to type in the titles exactly. :(

Sorry, but you're still wrong. Why don't you ask Capcom USA about Mega Man 4. I would know because I owned copies of all six Mega Man games. I also have *gasp!* Mega Man Anniversary Collection for both the PS2 and GC.

Therefore, I outnerded you.

RIT count, I am sorry to inform you or should I say I hate to agree with VamPyroX. I want to double check and copied this thread and pasted it in one of my favorite video game forums and made a poll. Guess what? They voted VamPyrox 45 and RITcount 0. I don't know what else to say. VamPyrox owns Ritcount.

I feel like you cant read this? You just provided a link and it says "This game was not released outside Japan until an inclusion of a remake in Super Mario All-Stars for the Super NES, where it could be played under the Lost Levels title." Do you know what this means? Vam is right.
