I just curious if would work with PS3? If not then I will play PS3 on SDTV with composite cable since my TV support 480i, also wait until get new HDTV for my room.

Its possible...since the PS3 is pretty much related to a computer, I would say just try it and see.

If it does work then would good news for me and steel but steel own monitor with DVI input and would work with PS3.

Yeah I doubt I would be getting the PS3 anytime soon anyway

Yeah...but I didnt buy it all at the same time. I bought some time to time as I got more money coming in my bank. I could find it impossible for me to buy something that cost $600 in one day cause I never spent anything more than $300 in one day.

DVI adapter will work but not sound. So you have to add optical input for this. HDMI is overall with video and audio. DVI is only for video. HDMI to DVI will go for video. Missing is sound. Let you know that. You probably does care or not.

It is up to you. No sound or must have sound. I must have it because I have subwoofer for bass sound.

Thats what I thought...so yeah your right in this case, a optical input is required to make the sound work but since hes deaf and all, he proably wont care about sound lol and as for me not too much as long as there's captions/subtitles showing.
