and no, it's not even wireless.
Now calling all Logitech engineers:
Back in May when Sony unveiled what's now called the Sixaxis controller for the PlayStation 3, one thing noticeably absent was vibration feedback. The claim by Sony at the time was that the feedback feature was not compatible with the motion-sensing technology in the PS3 controller. Right, Like we're not going to start seeing these things popping up all over the place once the PLAYSTATION 3 drops (sans all the wiring, though).
Leave it to a third-party peripheral maker by the name of eDimensional(UK) to prove Sony wrong, as it has revealed a new controller with both motion-sensing and feedback included. Called the G-Pad Pro, this new controller for the PlayStation achieves what the Sixaxis cannot ... well, almost. The slight difference is that the G-Pad Pro senses four directions of movement as opposed to the Sixaxis controller's 6 axises of movement. Supposedly, this particular hurdle will be overcome and the product ready for distribution, not long after the PS3 is launched.
So, if you can't wait until November to get your hands on motion-sensing controller technology, the G-Pad Pro is currently available from the eDimensional website for US$29.95. I'm hearing the PS3 controller will go for approximately US$49.95 - totally unconfirmed though. Will Sony eventually make their own? Who Knows? Oh well... Enjoy!!!
my apologies...I thought it was made from Logitech but it's not lol
