Looks like I finally gave in and picked up a 360(Pro) for myself with two controllers and a few games. I picked up PGR3, Ridge Racer, Dead Rising, Test Drive Unlimited, and Just Cause.

Is there an offical listing for XBOX games that are compatible with the 360(I have a HDD ready)?

Any sports games that are good? I'm looking at NCAA '07, NFL 07, or NBA2K7.

I'm having fun with them, Test Drive Unlimited is pretty impressive graphically. . Test Drive Unlimited has a GPS perfect map/course of Honolulu, Hawai. It is an amazing looking game. Ridge Racer is a lot of fun, full of exxagerated drift slides. Dead Rising looks like one hell of a game, I have only played a few minutes of that one. Project Gotham 3 is pretty good, but arcade style racers like Ridge Racer.. I gave Just Cause a 20- minute whirl, and it was sweet.

I have a Nyko cooler that I picked up for $20(on sale down from $25@ Circuit City). I have a quick charge kit, and am wondering if I should pick up another Quick Charge kit for the 2nd controller I have?

Lastly, I do not have internet acess set up for Live gaming. When I do get set up with a XL account, I will let you guys know, and we can play some games.

I liked NCAA 07, and Madden 07.

I just bought NBA2k7 and will buy NHL2k7. Don't buy EA sports for basketball is not really great. Improve is hockey. But NHL2k7 still better.

I thought about getting Unlimited Test Drive.

If you are not sure to buy it. You can rent game and movie.

Do not buy extra charge kit( the one plug N play) but buy extra recharger pak for a second controller.
 
Get one like this. It is better than plug and play charge kit. It comes with one pak.

All you need it buy extra one for second controller. Quick charge kit already have one and you can put second one. I do have third one. I put two in charge. If my controller's batter dead. I took one out from quick charge. If my friend want to play. Have to take second one for second controller. Third one is charging in quick . If you have three more friends to play. Sugges to get two quick charge kit. Right now, you are newbie for xbox 360. Just get one quick charge kit, and one rechargeable battery pak.

Sjone, I thought all he does is buy a rechargerable battery pak for a second controller. He already has a charge kit. is he?

Well it's too late for me I already got it but I dont really care as long as i keep the cord connected to my controller 'til it's fully charged when I play some games.

The trick to save plenty of battery life is when you stop playing, remove the battery pack because it's actually still being charged even when the console is turned off.

Don't believe me? Then take the controller somewhere REAL dark with the battery pak in and the controller as off and you will see some faint green glow telling you that the battery is still charged so if you all wondered why the battery life drained so quickly, well there's your answer.

Argh...They really need to update the list very soon cause I'm still waiting for BloodRayne, Conker, Hunter: Reckoning, and even two other Dead or alive games to be playable.
