Resident Evil, which is now Capcom's top franchise since Resident Evil on Playstation in 1996 with real 3D graphics, bright colors, and outstanding thrills, scares, and supsense ever made for the Playstation 10 years ago.

Now Capcom re-release the three GC games, Resident Evil, Resident Evil Zero, and Resident Evil 4 into one package exclusive for sale at EBgames/GameStop this holiday season. Perfect for gamecube owners who never experienced the horrors of the Resident Evil saga is now in for a treat to grab the full package of all three games that is exclusive on GameCube.

Grab it October 24th!

Resident Evil 10th Anniversary Collection
Because what would the holiday season be without a little zombie love?

October 2, 2006 - As one of the top titles on the system, Resident Evil 4 delivered one of the most advantageous exclusives Nintendo has ever seen, and while the near-perfect survival horror entry ended up gracing the PS2 library as well, fans know it best in its original GameCube form. In fact, with all the talk about a lackluster third party effort, Nintendo was hands-down the best place to go for the Resident Evil franchise. The GameCube started out with a remake of the original Resident Evil, still hailed as one of the scariest and most chilling gaming experiences out there, only to get the star treatment once again with Resident Evil Zero.

So to celebrate the delicious chunk of gaming goodness that has been the Resident Evil series, Capcom is teaming up with EB Games and GameStop to deliver one final hurrah for Nintendo fans. The Resident Evil 10th Anniversary Collection is slated to hit stores October 24, a mere three weeks from now, and offers Resident Evil (the remake), Resident Evil Zero, and Resident Evil 4 together in one package for the MSRP if $39.99. This deal is exclusive to EB Games and GameStop, so if the package is anything like the original Resident Evil 4 collector's edition (also GameStop exclusive) we may be seeing some kind of collector's tin or special casing for the games to round the package off.

When contacted, Capcom representatives stated that the package would be full versions of the three games, with no added content. We'd like to see the collection receive the star treatment with a new case and a few bonus goodies, but either way the package stands to be a great way to pick up a few awesome (and somewhat rare) gems that helped make GameCube a true must-have system for survival horror enthusiasts.

For ppl wondering about another Resident Evil title for the Wii, Resident Evil 5 will NOT on the Wii but rather another RE exclusive title for the Wii and I've seen some videos where it would be based on the orginal Resident Evil in the same mansion...in FPS mode. ;)
