Check it out and must register on Sept 22nd to Oct 10th and madden online tournament starts on Oct 5th to Oct 10th. Thr grand prize is $100,000 dollars and top 8 players will get $500 bucks Visa card. I just signed up today and be prepare on Oct 5th.
Here's how it works:
* Register: Sign up at the link above between September 22 and October 10.
* Qualify: From October 5 to October 10, play Madden NFL 07 on Xbox Live for the online leaderboard seeding.
* Compete: The top 512 registered players on the leaderboard will be notified. Bracket play will take place between October 14 and October 31. The final round will take place from November 1 to November 3. The date for the Championship Round has yet to be determined.
* Win: The winners of the tournament will be posted November 10.
Qualifying Round: October 5, 2006 - October 10, 2006
Seeded Rounds: October 14, 2006 - October 31, 2006
Finals Round: November 1, 2006 - November 3, 2006
Championship Round: November 4, 2006
This Tournament will consist of 1 Qualifying Round, 1 Seeded Round, 1 Finals Round and 1 Championship Round as follows.
Qualifying Round
The Qualifying Round of this Tournament will begin at 12:00 AM (ET) on October 5, 2006, when the Madden 07 Leaderboard will be reset. At approximately 11:59 PM (ET) on October 10, 2006, the Qualifying Round of this Tournament will end, the Madden 07 Leaderboard will be recorded and the top 512 eligible Players will advance to the Seeded Round of this Tournament. If ineligible players are ranked on the Madden 07 Leaderboard, the next highest ranked eligible Player will instead move on to the Seeded Round. Players will be notified via an e-mail communication from Clash on or around October 12, 2006.
Note: The Madden 07 Leaderboard is exhaustive of ALL Madden 07 players, but only eligible Players that have registered for this Tournament will advance to the Seeded Round of this Tournament.
NOTE: During the Qualifying Round, Players who play more than (2) games against the same opponent will be disqualified and ineligible to advance to the Seeded Round of this Tournament.
Seeded Rounds
On or around October 12, 2006, the top 512 eligible Players from the Qualifying Round will be bracketed into the Seeded Round of this Tournament based upon Madden 07 Leaderboard rank. The Seeded Round of this Tournament will begin at approximately 12:00 AM (ET) on October 14, 2006, and end at 11:59 PM (ET) on October 31, 2006. The Seeded Round of this Tournament will be played head-to-head in 5 rounds (48 hours per round) until the field of Players has been reduced to 16
In order to advance to the next round within the Finals Round, a Player must defeat his or her opponent in the assigned match and the winner must report the match results via the Clash Site (Clash: Madden '07 Tournament) within the designated period for that round. Any Player that has not arrived within 15 minutes of the scheduled match time will forfeit the match and his or her opponent will automatically receive a bye and move on to the next round. If neither Player is present for an assigned match, both Players will be disqualified and the Player scheduled to play the winner of such assigned match will automatically receive a bye and move on to the next round.
Finals Round
The top 16 Players from the Seeded Round of this Tournament will continue bracket play for the Finals Round, which will take place over a period of 3 days beginning at approximately 12:00 AM (ET) on November 1, 2006, and ending at 11:59 PM (ET) on November 3, 2006. The Finals Round of this Tournament will be played head-to-head in 3 rounds (24 hours per round) until the field of Players has been reduced to 2.
Championship Round
The top 2 Players from the Finals Round will meet on November 4, 2006, to compete in the Championship Round of this Tournament, which will consist of 1 head-to-head match. The Player that defeats his or her opponent in the Championship Round must report the match results via the Clash Site (Clash: Madden '07 Tournament) by 5:00 p.m. (ET) November 5, 2006.
Winner Notification
On or around November 10, 2006, the overall winner and runner-up will be notified via e-mail and/or phone, and must respond within 2 days to either confirm acceptance of or decline his or her prize. If the winner does not respond, he or she will be disqualified and the next highest ranking eligible Player from the Championship Round will be selected as the winner.
