Since I already sold out Xbox 360 in last few month ago and feel want order it again because some deaf membrs have XBox 360 and none of them have network adapter to play online on PS2. I have problem with NAT when start connect via WiFi and NAT is "Strict" at all time, never got "Open". It make upset me and cannot play via online. I have linksys, also only point on B and it supposed to work so well.

Please discuss here and help me... Thanks...

Xbox 360 hooking up online is very easy to do and of course it required credit card/debit card to purhase the Gold membership. About your router there is tech support link somewhere it show which router would work with xbox 360. So check it before you get xbox 360. If your former Xbox 360 works online then it shouldnt be a plm.

If you want PS3 then would be best to save up the money for that... As for me I only buy xbox 360 because I was fan of old xbox with nascar thunder 2003 but then xbox 360 doesnt have Nascar up yet which disappointed me. Madden 2007 is pretty cool and it would keep me busy. I do also love FPS games but FPS is best on PC only.

Hope this help?

buy it again ! :D and u wont regret it !! 360 new games coming out recently has been pretty good and more are on its way !!! :D also i use wired internet connection i do have the wireless microsoft xbox 360 adapter but i never use it LOL am gonna sell that wifi thingy heh ...good luck in ur adventure with xbox 360 again i never had any problems at all with my 360 !!!!! it was bought in jan 2006 by the original owner and ive had it ever since april and it travelled all the way in mail from conn. to here in a box with just few layers of newspapers LOL

Well it's up to you...yet it's a cheaper console than the PS3 and plenty of third party titles are coming to the PS3 as well as Xbox360 so I dont feel the desire to get the PS3 at all...yet, if you get the Xbox360 again, I highy recommend you to get Perfect Dark Zero, Dead Rising, Prey, and many other awesome Xbox360 titles. I dont even have the Wi-fi for PS2 and I dont have Xbox live, but at least I still have some friends to play in some mulitplayer games sometimes.

Later on Xbox360 will have the Xbox live camera, 256MB memory unit, and best of all, Halo 3 is coming to Xbox360 next year. If u want to play orginal Xbox titles, make sure you get the HDD and update the HDD if you have Xbox live or a CDRW drive on ur CPU, copy the update software via Xbox.com then put the written CD into the console and it'll automatically reboot, then all of the emualtion titles are done and ready to play on ur Xbox360.

Xbox360 isnt that bad it's still a pretty good selling product in the market.

Cheap? but I have still to buy network adapter and Intercool, it's total about $120. That's not cheap though and SSI don't pay me enough... 20GB HDD isn't enough but need upgrade into 40GB to 60GB then our problem will solve but suppose to transfer your profile into upgradable HDD. I need HD-DVD too because most next new games would make on HD-DVD instead of DVD soon or so.

The HD-DVD drive is only opintal and no, Microsoft has even said that they will NOT make games for the HD-DVD drive...only for the HD-DVD movies.

Xbox.com | Xbox 360 - Why HD DVD?

Why Add an HD DVD Drive?
With Xbox 360, you have the ultimate freedom to create your own high-definition entertainment experiences. By offering the Xbox 360 HD DVD Player, Microsoft is providing yet another option to enjoy HD content, with the understanding that next-gen DVD is not for everyone. Microsoft's primary emphasis remains creating incredible HD gaming experiences, but they also provide a host of options to take advantage of the powerful technology in the Xbox 360 to enjoy HD photos and movies, if that’s your choice.

They never said anything about the games...

Why HD DVD?
It's no secret that there are two next-gen DVD formats hitting the market. The first to market was HD DVD and the second (indeed already out in Japan) is Blu-ray. After two years of deliberation, Microsoft made its choice and decided to back HD DVD. The question then becomes why? Here are a few reasons:

Manufacturing: Concerns developed regarding Blu-ray's ability to manufacturer the discs at the capacity originally intended. In fact, with the Blu-ray launch in Japan, the discs are being created at single-layer 25 Gigabyte capacity, which is half of the originally intended 50 gigabytes.
Easy to Damage: Because Blu-ray discs are encoded near the very top layer of the disc with limited protection, the data is literally at higher risk to damage. Conversely, HD DVD maintains physical protection similar to standard DVD.
Copy Protection: Blu-ray utilizes not one, but two different forms of copy protection, adding an extra layer of protection and complexity that just didn't appear necessary.

VC1 Compression: While both Blu ray and HD DVD players are required to be compatible with three different compression technologies (including VC1), an intriguing trend has already begun. Content providers (movie studios) for HD DVD are nearly unanimously using the brand new VC1 compression technology, whereas Blu-ray providers are sticking with the ten-year-old MPEG 2 compression that has been used on standard DVDs. With VC1, HD DVDs are able to compress much higher quality video into a significantly smaller package.
Capacity: Dual layer 30 GB HD DVDs are already available, whereas Blu-ray has only released its single layer, 25 GB disc.
Hybrid Disc: HD DVD offers the ability to encode both a regular DVD format and HD DVD format on the same disc. If you purchase a hybrid disc, you can flip to one side and play the movie on any standard DVD Player, and when you do get an HD DVD player you can flip to the other side and play it in true HD.

Whats even more interesting is that if you don't have a HD DVD player and you want to purchase a HD-DVD format, it has two sides one is non-HD while the other side is HD for use best with the HD-DVD player.

Not surprised, it's up to MS if take concern for majority battle with PS3 because PS3 use 2x BD-ROM for support 50GB instead of around 9GB for 2x DVD-ROM. If MS would make new games via 2x HD-DVD ROM then problem would solve to take hot battle with PS3. Only Wii is out of their way and not interesting to become hardcore game.

For prices, if new games that made via 2x DVD-ROM are supposed to cost around under $50 but no offense.

Bad news... Many movies that Sony Picture and some other movie studio like Lionsgate create it then wouldn't release on HD-DVD.

Lionsgate is first movie studio that stopped to make any movies on VHS in 2004 then Sony Picture and few other movie studio were followed by them.

Mission Impossible 3 is a movie that is being released on all three formats, DVD, HDDVD, and Blu-Ray. I am curious myself which format will sell the best for that movie.
Do you have a link for where you read that more studios will prefer Blu-Ray??

Well, MS said if BD is become more dominant then they will make BD add-on in other years later if not successful with HD-DVD, also I'm sure that people who own Xbox 360 and can get BD player for watch movies. For people who lover of PS2 are not worrying about it because PS3 would have BD Video, BD Audio and BD ROM.

I like some games to play on Xbox 360...
Test Drive Unlimited
Just Cause
Amped 3
Madden 07
NCAA 07
Saints Row
PGR 3
Forza Motorsport 2
MotoGP 06
DOA 4
Need for Speed: Carbon
Rumble Roses XX
Tony Hawk's Project 8
