This amazing-looking game supposedly comes out Septmeber 26th. I was reading about it in Play magazine, and it makes me WANT a 360. It will be on PS2, PC and XBOX360. I read that the 360 version will be the best, with advanced graphics and such. I will post up links and pictures later to enlighten everyone. If SteelX can do that for us, that will be cool.

In Just Cause, you take on the role of the flamboyant Rico Rodriguez - an undercover CIA operative specialising in regime change - as he tries to overthrow the corrupt government of San Esperito. This rogue South American island is suspected of stockpiling WMDs and it's your job to negate the threat to world peace. It could be to your advantage that this tropical paradise is about to implode as various factions vie for power - it just needs a gentle nudge in the right direction.

Just Cause offers the freedom to tackle your assignment however you want: play the island's factions off against one another; incite a rebellion among the masses; or build alliances with rebel forces and drug cartels. Explore the game's world of 1,225 square miles of mountains, jungles, beaches, cities and villages with a variety of air, land and sea craft.

That is story about it. Is it like Far Cry??

That is a good decription of the story. The picture above is of San Esperito. I read Play magazine and there is a description of some gameplay. It appears in the demo that the grappling hook is not in it, but will be in the game.
What I read was that the hook can be hooked up to anything. Be it on wheels, water,or wings, if it 's close enough for you to get to, it's fair game. Everything is a platform, be it moving or not. I also read about what the writer experienced in gameplay of Just Cause. He experienced hijacking a plane and turning it into a missle, and jimping out just in time before crashing it.
The XlBOX360 is looking nreal good.

This game is HUGE. It must take a hour plus just to walk\swim from top to bottom of San Esperito. Sure, this game is not perfect, but it sure is well made, looks amazing, and plays great.
Any one else pick this game up?
