Is Conroe from AMD??

AMD is cheaper that Intel, but Intel is the poweful, and the majority of the PC have Intel
 
Nope, the opposite! AMD has been more advanced than Intel, believe it or not, AMD Athlon 64 which uses 64 bits since 2 years ago! While Intel finally roll down 64 bits last spring in mainstream. Whats more, most Intel based PC bus speed still around 800mhz while AMD already hoover around 1600mhz and some cases already exceeding 2000GHZ! AMD cheaper than Intel? Nope! AMD cost little more than Intel!

I don't like Intel Pentium III and later! Pentium II and earlier is much better.

you mean all in computer next year?

Core 2 Duo/Extreme is low watt 65/75 than Pentium D 95/130 Watt

low temp, cool, etc.. are BTX than ATX is hot

Conroe is Core2 Duo and Core 2 Extreme. They will start July 28 but not next year

Everyone knows Conroe is the best processor EVER right now. It producted by intel. It releases tomorrow because I am building a new alienware case (it releases tomrorow too) with a new processor, conroe. How much costs? try $10k. :hyper: I work for Alienware and I have seen conroe for 3 weeks now. Badass. Smoke every processors. Now AMD has to sit down and wait. By the way, AMD and intel will soon face a new competor from SONY, IMB, Tombia together for new processor called CELL.

:rofl: everyone knows? I am not one of them that knows. I do know there are other good processors like Intel Duo core. I haven't seen many Conroe processors around. The most common are Intel and AMD.

Im starting to remember this, the announcement was about 3 years ago about a company wanting to start new CP manufacture. Maybe that is the one, and heard "rumor" that their CPU is going to dominant AMD and Intel and other gamer console. And they claim that their CPU is to be the smallest of all. So, we all wait and see if their claim is true or just another cheap talk. If they hold their claim, this is gonna hurt AMD and Intel.

Amd and Intel still wars. Remember I am not BIG fan. Just pick whatever best one. That's why I have Amd64 for desktop and Intel M for laptop.

Thats correct, never end. That's why I said AMD has to sit down and wait( means let intel enjoy and they are working the next processor against conroe)

Sometimes application compatability is an issue with AMD. Some programs and devices have problems with AMD processors and AMD chipsets

Yes. That's why Amd stop use AMD chipset anymore.

Amd use chipset Ati, Nvidia, Uli, VIA, and SIS for now.

Chipset VIA and SIS are not great due bugs
Chipset Ati and ULI are very slow.


Chipset Nvidia is BEST one.

Yeah, the thing about technology is that it's so dynamic and new things are hitting the market all of the time. I learned a long time ago to NOT jump on something (operating system or gadget) when they first come out. I like to let the rest of the masses be the beta testers. I wait back a bit for things to cool down and wait for the vendors to work out the bugs first. Then I pounce. What you mention about AMD chipsets is a classic case in point. Good posting!
