Don't need firewall while you have router and hacker think you have on firewall?

Did you know that my friend do not need firewall because hacker thinks router has on firewall. Was that true or not? His computer is not on firewall. I cannot believe that my friend is not using that firewall???? I would like to hear your reaction is it true or illusion?

Hackers still can go thru firewalls. It's safer to have a hardware firewall than no firewall, though.

Exactly, but you could improve the firewall defense configuration. However it is NOT fool-proof. The best firewall is using proxy server with firewall service. They don't come cheap (average cost about 120 dollars a month) but are much more secure.

I dont need firewall from router. Just use my chipset and it have nvidia firewall.

It's much better than software for save CPU %.
