Hello, a group of us from Design and Computer Science are working at the University of Washington on developing an app for the Android Phone that visualizes sound for the deaf & hard of hearing.
We would like to reach out to the community to better understand how you see sound and the role it plays in your everyday life.
Imagine using your phone to detect sound activity. What sorts of sounds would be important to be aware of?
I know this a big question, but we are curious about how you sense (see/feel etc) sound.
Any stories or insight would be wonderful.
