Telephone Ring thru Headphones

I have a friend that has partial hearing and when she is listening to the radio using headphones, she can't hear the phone ring. I'm thinking she might not see a flashing light. Is there something that be connected between the radio and earphones that would enable her to hear the phone ring?

well if someone is wearing a headphone, usually cant hear background noise, and a phone ringing is a background noise. Also since she has partial hearing she is probably focusing on listening to the radio and ingorning the noises around her so she can understand the radio, which is another cause for not hearing the phone ringing.. I don't think there is anything that can cause someone to hear the phone ringing while wearing the headphone, but i am not knowledgable of what technologly is available for the deaf people..

Only way is to have Big light flasher that is visual enough...
