My name is Katy. I'm a freshmen in college and I live on the East Coast. Not too much to tell, found this site and was interested in talking to everybody. Feel free to contact me if you want. Ummm. So, I guess I could tell everyone a little bit about myself...
My parents are both hearing musicians. My older brother has perfect hearing, but my younger brother and I are both hard of hearing. Spent most of my life as a hearing person, but tested 4 years ago and now I wear hearing aids which help. I'm currently learning sign language and have been active in the Deaf community for the past two years. I am now focusing on a Deaf Studies minor, but my major is in English.
