I'm hearing, I was wanting to learn ASL. I have learned a little.
I only know one deafie, I wanted to talk to him so.. that's a big reason I want to learn.

I learned a little when I was younger, the alphabet, few words, once I learned a song. Things like that.

I wanted to be fluent. But now.. I'm starting to feel weird about it.

Like.. because I'm hearing I would be.. rejected? or an out cast?

Should I feel weird, worried and like a shut out? :(

If this is in the wrong section, please move it to where it should be. sorry

Every deaf person I have ever met, is happy to see a hearing person with the respect to learn and communicate. You might feel awkward at first, but trust me, they make great friends.

they may seem few and far between, and "1% of the population", but they're really everywhere. :giggle:
