Latino population quadrupled in Iowa

I predict anti-Latino movement in Iowa.

That's what they said about Florida at one point over 30 years ago. Now the Latino population is exploding over all of Florida, not just Dade county.

I live in west Texas area. I love our Latino culture. The folks, food, art, crafts, shopping are all wonderful. We have Latino people from Mexico, Puerto Rico, and far south America. The Mexican grocery, Azteca, has great offerings from foods, drinks and a Latin Deli to specialty cookware. Most everyone is very friendly and very nice. Get to know people and enjoy them. You will be amazed.

I'm aware of that. I've met few Native Americans here in Iowa. :) I also saw the Native American reservation called Tama also have a casino nearby.

then don't ever say that the land belongs to Mexico. Don't listen to that bullshit at all :cool2:

The land orginally belongs to the Native Americans who lived here, not only the mexican indians in southern part of the United States.

I live in Texas and many traditions come from Latino culture. The Karankawa Indians lived on the Gulf Coast where I live. Unfortunately, not much is known about these people. In the late 1800s my relatives came to Texas. The really crazy relatives came down to the swaps and stayed. Gotta love the flooding and mosquitoes here.
