Hello Interpreters,
I am opening this discussion thread in education interpreting (K-12), I am curious if your certified /non certified what kind of classes do you interpret? Do you feel being certified is worth the classes your interpreting?
I will begin, as a freelance interpreter, by all means, I am not interpreting world history, government or any high level courses. If your interpreting art, P.E. or any leisure like course , do you feel its necessary to be certified in this area? I am sure, each person here has a different experience and working with entire different client plus , your geographic area. Just opened to hear what you have to say.
Thanks!
