I've just been looking through a few of the most recent introductions, and I noticed that they've all been hearing people. Well, I'm going to add myself to that list. Hi, I'm Michy from "Michy"-gan, USA. I'll be 18 tomorrow, and I'm currently enrolled in an ASL class at college. I've always been interested in sign language, and I'm excited to finally learn some. Interpreting is on my list of possibilities. I'm not quite sure yet if I will pursue that, but I'm definitely considering it. As for why I joined...well for one thing, I love (what I know of) the deaf culture. I don't know exactly how to explain it, so I'll leave it at that..lol. Also, I'm sort of crossing my fingers and hoping that I might be able to meet some deaf in my area. *shrug* We'll see.
Err, I was going to say I guess I'm going to explore a little more now, but I just realized it's time for my next class soon, and I better be going. So, I'll be back later..hopefully someone will have responded by then :-P
