Empowering Deaf Society (EDS) is a registered charity. We are offering a FREE course for Deaf people living in Lambeth. (We are constantly setting up new courses, so keep your eyes open for something in your area!)

Information for this course

What will you learn?

The NVQ BSL Level 3 course will give Deaf people
• Knowledge, confidence in BSL
• Linguistic teaching
• Practical assessments
• Information on filming techniques
The course will be a great addition to your CV and can be a guide to your future career, maybe you could become a BSL tutor yourself!

Who should enrol?

Anyone who is Deaf, lives in Lambeth, and is unemployed or on a low income and/or on benefits.

When does the course start?

Start Day: 5th August
Time: 10am-4pm
Other Days: 3rd Sept, 1st Oct, 12th Nov, 26th Nov, 3rd Dec
How can we help you?

Two teachers will give you extra support with your written and BSL assignments and portfolio building.

Course fee?

This is a FREE course.
