Now that Rare is owned by Microsoft doesnt mean its the end of the line for Rare and Nintendo as former partners to such games as Donkey Kong, Perfect Dark, Banjo-Kazooie and others.
Rare is considering of doing the 4th installment of Donkey Kong Country to Wii's virtual console but that being said, it is only up to Nintendo to allow that to happen or not.
It sounds interesting...knowing that they may do Donkey Kong Country 4, a half 2-D, 3-D platforming adventure game that brings the classic feel of the Super Nintendo days.
Ever since 1996 Donkey Kong Country 3 was one of the last games for the Super Nintendo before Nintendo 64 came along and stole the spot light.
Donkey Kong 64, released for the Nintendo 64 in 1999 was the last Donkey Kong game developed by Rare so would we see another DK game made by Rare again? who knows but it would be pretty nice to see that happening.
I personally wish Nintendo would've keep Rare instead of selling it to Mircosoft but...oh well. If Rare was still with Nintendo as Wii came out, it would be interesting to see how Perfect Dark Zero is played on Wii, right?
Anyway, there's still no word yet about DKC4 coming to the possilibty, so deal or no deal?
Proably no deal, so lets see.

EDIT: For anyone wondering about Goldeneye 007...I've read something about Rareware at Wikipedia and I read along the lines in this:
GoldenEye 007 was set for release, Microsoft approached Nintendo with a deal that would allow the game to be released on both Xbox Live Arcade and Nintendo's Virtual Console, but Nintendo refused this offer.
WTF nintendo?!?! It would've made a fuckin great deal to gamers who've longed to play this again! ARGH!
