‘Hands On’ Presents Deaf Factor | The Irish Film & Television Network

’Hands On’, the diversity programme for Ireland’s Deaf and hard of hearing community, has something special up its sleeve for the final programme in the fourteenth series, namely ‘Deaf Factor’, a national talent competition with a difference! The programme will broadcast on Sunday, January 17th.

The competition sees Deaf contestants of all ages and talents take to the stage for some weird and wonderful performances. From a 75 year old doing press-ups to a signing monkey, hip-hop routines to interpretive dance, this programme boasts a wide – and sometimes unusual – array of Irish Deaf talent. The winner of the ‘Deaf Factor’ will take home a prize of €500 worth of Prize Bonds from the Prize Bond Company Ltd.

’Hands On’ is a Mind the Gap Films Production for RTÉ One directed by Ramon Woolfe (Something Stupid) and produced by Anne Heffernan (production assistant, Irish Tenors and Friends).

The ‘Deaf Factor’ will feature on the final episode of ‘Hands On’ which will broadcast on Sunday, January 17th at 12:55pm on RTÉ One
