I just don't want to go to the doctors when I don't need to

I havn't gone to the doctors because I don't think it's bad enough yet, I can still understand a lot but I miss out on a few things, I've been diagnosed with APD so it could of easily been that all along. My step mom is telling me to go, but it's not like I can't hear anything!

I found out by online hearing tests that my range is around 40-50 on the charts, I just wondered what it means. I can hear most things when people talk directly to me, but when poeple turn their backs and talk or talk from a distance it's begins to get a bit harder, I can hear the TV on volume...
