How would I be able to find the Deaf Community near me? (Just south of Indianapolis, IN) Google.com hasn't been helpful.

As of yet I am still hearing, although I've been classified as 50% loss in my left ear and 75% loss in my right ear. Would it be insensitive of me to do an experiment in which I wear earplugs for an extended amount of time (7+days) just to see what the future may hold?

Looking for an in person ASL buddy so I can learn. I'm HOH and need/want to learn ASL before I become deaf. No weirdos please. Haha
